About the Program
Designed for sports universally, the Global Sports PD Community Coaching Program was held over 5 weeks in May, bringing well-respected and successful sporting coaches, athletes & mentors to the screens of community sporting coaches across the world.
Powered by Veo, the program provided attendees with a wide range of learning opportunities for personal development, including live webinar sessions, pre-recorded mini lessons and a list of recommended resources from international speakers from the Global Sports PD Network.
This program is suited to coaches from any sport and of any level. Topics that were discussed include:

Alicia is a highly acclaimed and recognisable member within the American Basketball scene, due to her success as Girls Head Coach of the Sierra Canyon School Basketball program. In 2019, Alicia was named the Californian High Schools Coach of the year, LA Times Coach of the Year and Daily News Coach of the Year. Alicia has been praised for her coaching methods by the media, her athletes and their parents. Sierra Canyon is not your typical high school, as it is home to well-known American celebrities’ children, including Lebron James Junior and the son of Dwayne Wade, who are both in the Basketball program.
Kevin Eastman
Former NBA Assistant & Championship Winning Coach, Former VP Operations and Amazon Best-Selling Author
Following Eastman’s extremely successful career in the NBA as a long-standing Assistant Coach of the Boston Celtics and Assistant Coach and VP of Basketball Operations at the LA Clippers, Kevin has amassed a strong following of sports fans, athletes and business people who use his stories and wisdom as motivation and drive for their personal life and team success. Kevin has worked with some of the most successful athletes and coaches across his 40-year career including Kevin Garnett & Ray Allen and helped guide the Boston Celtics to victory in the 2008 NBA Championship as an assistant coach to head coach and close friend, Doc Rivers.
Kevin is highly regarded as one of the best leadership presenters in sport, sharing his experiences and stories around the world, providing listeners with pages of take home notes on leadership, values and culture. Every registered participant will also take home a copy of Kevin’s book – ‘why the best are the best’.
